Before Coach Noble arrived at Marshfield in 2008, he spent 30 memorable years coaching in Quincy. He began as a head coach in the Quincy Youth Football program from 1977-1986. He began his career at the high school level in 1986, serving as Quincy High School's running backs coach. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 1990, and he took over as head coach for the Presidents in 1999, a role he kept until stepping down in 2007. Coach Noble was the OCL Coach of the Year in 2000, the ACL Coach of the Year in 2003, and the Boston Globe Division 3 Coach of the Year in 2003. He holds the record for consecutive coaching wins (9) in the 85-year-old Quincy/North Quincy Thanksgiving rivalry. He was inducted into the Quincy/North Quincy Football Hall of Fame in 2010. Served on the Marshfield staff from 2008-2015, coaching on 2 state championship teams (2009 & 2014). Joined Coach Arouca's staff in Hingham for the 2016 & 2017 seasons. Helped coach 3 different quarterbacks to multiple varsity wins during the 2016 season. Returned with Coach Arouca to Marshfield in 2018.

Took on the head role as the youngest head football coach in the state at 24 years old at North Quincy from 2006-2012 ending an 8 year run of losing records to 5 winning seasons. Became the head football coach at Norwell High School from 2012-2017 and ended 5 straight losing seasons prior to play in 3 district Championship games. Later became the head football coach at Hingham High School in 2018. Moved up to the varsity level in 2003, working with defensive tackles, and continued that role in 2004. Was out of active coaching until 2015, but got back involved on the periphery of the program from 2012-2014, serving as Marshfield Football's video coordinator, stats coordinator, and webmaster. Returned to active coaching for Marshfield in 2015 as the team's running backs coach, and he added punt and kickoff units to his duties in 2016. Joined Coach Arouca's staff in Hingham for the 2017 season, where he served as the Harbormen's special teams coordinator, as well as wide receivers and tight ends coach. Came back to MHS with Coach Arouca in 2018, serving as special teams coordinator and tight ends coach. Had to step away from active coaching again in 2019, serving only as the team's video coordinator and webmaster/statistician. Coach Shack is thrilled to be back as an active member of Coach Arouca's coaching staff for the 2024 season.
